1. Access data and hosting

In line with processing on our behalf, a third-party provider renders services to us related to hosting and website display. This serves safeguarding our legitimate interests in optimal product display, which prevails in the context of weighing interests. All data collected as defined below and in line with the use of this website and in forms in the online shop intended for this purpose, is processed on these servers. Processing on other servers only takes place within the scope defined here.
This service provider is located in a country within the European Union or the European Economic Area.

2. Data collection and use for contract processing and opening customer accounts

We collect personal data whenever you voluntarily share it with us in the course of the order process, when contacting us (i.e. using the contact form or via email) or when you open a customer account. Mandatory fields are marked as such because in such cases, this data is required to process the contract or to process your message to us or for you to open a customer account, and without it you cannot complete the order and/or opening an account, or will not be able to contact us. The respective entry form shows which data is collected. We use the data you share with us to process the contract and your enquiries in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. After your contract has been completely processed or your customer account has been closed, your data is restricted from further use and erased after the retention periods under tax and commercial law have expired, unless you have explicitly agreed to the further use of your data or we have reserved the right to further use your data in a way permissible by law and we have informed you of this herein. You can close your customer account at any time; this can either be done by sending a message to the point of contact stated below or by using the function provided for this purpose in the customer account.

3. Data transfer

In order to fulfil the contract pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, we transfer your data to the shipping company assigned with the delivery, provided this is necessary for the delivery of the goods ordered. Depending on which payment service provider you selected in the order process, we transfer the payment details collected for this purpose to the bank assigned with the payment and, if necessary, the payment provider assigned by us or to the selected payment service, to process payments. Some of the selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves, provided that you create an account with them. In this case you have to log in with the payment service provider using your access data during the order process. In this respect, the privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies.
If the term of payment for invoices has been exceeded, we transfer your personal data we collected as well as your contract data to our debt collection office, to safeguard our interests in accordance with article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

4. Postal advertising and your right to object

We further reserve the right to use your first and last name as well as your postal address for our own advertising purposes, e.g. to send interesting offers and information concerning our products by letter post. This serves protecting our legitimate interests in contacting our customers for advertising purposes, which prevail in the context of weighing interests pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
The advertising is sent by mail through a service provider within the context of processing on our behalf, for which we will transfer your data to this service provider.
You can object to the storage and usage of your data for these purposes at any time by messaging the contact person listed below.

7. Search function

When using the search function on our website, the search terms entered, the search settings, the time of the search, your anonymized IP address (shortened by the last two ranges eg 192.168.0.0) and the number of search results found are stored. This serves the internal analysis of the search terms and the search history to continue to improve our website.
